our trip this weekend to north carolina was fun and scary at the same time. we left our house at 3:00 pm and our eta was 8:00. we got stuck in atlanta traffic for 3 1/2 hours. i was getting so mad. it had been raining all day here and when we hit the the south carolina state line it started to sleet on us. it got really bad just outside of spartanburg. after the fourth or fifth car accident, we decided to pull over and stay the night. the hotel we stopped at only had one room left and we snagged it. the room was nice and had a huge tub.



we had some naughty pictures of the wife but she deleted them. maybe next time!!

the morning after. it was all ice.
during our trip we use a garmin to get us to places we have never been to. tis time the garmin failed us. it told us to get off the interstate and get on a state highway. well this state highway had not been cleared. there was up to two feet of snow on it. i am now a master at driving inthe snow and ice. my ride is not a 4 wheel drive car. so scary. we finally get to ur friends farm and it is so beautiful. here are the pictures to prove it.





in all it was fun trip. it was just what we needed. hope everyone has a merry christmas and happy new years!!
