awesome!! just freaking awesome. last night the wife and i went to movie stop and bought a few movies so we can have our "movie night". we buy snacks such as popcorn, chocolate, and beer(thats for the wife.) we were all set and went to turn on our dvd player and nothing. we unplugged it and tried to reset it and again nothing. then we realized that it was plugged into the a wall socket not the surge protector. we had some really bad storms friday night and a bolt of lighting hit the house next to ours. the intense electricity might have arched to our house and fried everything that wasnt protected. we notice something else, out dvr was also plugged in the wall. who the hell plugged our shit up in the wall? now we have to get a new dvd player and have the cable company(if you have comcast you know how much a pain in the ass they can be!!) come out and give us another dvr. i hate it when other people mess with our shit!!! i so wanted to see the movie "the strangers" and eastern promises". we also got the "the devils rejects" and "fear and loathing in las vegas" the criterion collection. movie stop had a sale...buy three used movies and get one free. we are suckers for sales like that. anyways, time to go wake up the wife so we can start our day. hope everyone has had a good weekend so far. peace
