I loved this movie like I love sex. One of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen. The acting is incredible, those kids make all hollywood actors look like a bunch of middle school theater geeks.
Elephant: SO FUCKING BAD
If you took one indy kid and one emo kid, and one pretentious film geek and stuffed them all in a blender, then took the mush and distilled it for sevral hours you get this whack poor excuse for cinema. I hated this movie. Everyone of my indie wierdo friends were all up on this shit like it was the holy grail of fucking movies. Dont bother with this one, go listen to the Get Up Kids and have a good cry instead, its pretty much the same thing.

And I'm about to finish watching City of God tonight, I started watching it a while ago at about 3 am and fell asleep. What I saw was SO good though!
