I just arrived here in sunny Vancouver British Columbia. Its been a really dry summer here, no rain, that sux. I love the west coast rain, warm and invigorating, rich and dense. The lack of rain has caused all the once lush lawns to turn brown. Its depressing. Its nice to be here, its nice to be home. Im from Calgary, but I hate it there and dont consider it home, I live in Montreal and I like it ok, but its only my halfway home. Vancouver is my real home, where the Asians be runnin tings, naw mean! Its good to be somewhere with lots of asians, it makes me feel relaxed ina a way. Even though I hate most asains, its still comfroting. All asains hate each other, but accept each other with an uinspoken understanding and solidarity, shit talking aside. I think euros are the same way, they tolerate each other in a form of regional/ethnic solidarity. A french man will curse a german to their face, yet will defend them from the remonstrations of and american. Koreans thinks chinese are rude and uncouth, but if a white guy calls chink on a chinese, then the Korean will jump to the defense of that chinese person. Asian town fun for everyone.
Its good to be home.
Time to relax.
Finally.

yeah.. I can see the solidarity.. but then.. it helps that the whole wrold hates americans, right?
ha.. Sucks to be me. haha.. You know.. I grew up in the south.. it was really wierd being like 1 of 10 white kids out of 100 kids.. mostly black. So when I moved here and there were like 2 black kids for every 500.. I was really confused and stressed. There are also a lot of "irish" families here.. so IIt was wierd to be around so many people with similar customs as my own family. It was cool and comforting.. but I guess I kinda prefere a lot of different cultures.. all mixed up.
