Sigh, its snowing. Just when I get my skateboard out of the closet.
I feel strange today, strangely satisfied, yet strangely unfufilled also. I think im getting antsy for spring time and the wonder it brings. I miss waking up to the sun pouring through my windows.
I miss the smell of the grass and the trees.
I miss rollin down the boulevard with the wind blowin my dreads around.
I miss Leanne, and her hula hoop
I miss drinkin 40's in the shade
I miss sweaty nights with Andrea, cuddled up by the window, enjoying the evening breeze.
I miss being anonymous
I miss all my old friends.

But things are looking up in this year of the monkey. The sun hangs out longer. The snow banks are melting.
The winds are changing, and im smilin. Cuz I know the sun will bring more smiles, and more life, and it will bring all my loved ones out from the darkness and into my waiting arms.
