Dude, this sucks - I lost my piercings today. Work finally caught up with me and they said I had to get clear caps to keep them in. So I ran across the street to try and find some and when the jeweler looked at my studs, she got this freaked out look on her face and told me that they were way more swollen than normal. So she calls over the piercer from Chameleon who told me that if I didn't get longer bars in very very soon, I was going to have serious damage to my lip. To make a long story short, 20 minutes later I was in the piercing shop getting them removed, both because of work and to avoid serious lip injury. It turns out the studs that were put in when I got them pierced were way too short......and from looking online, were also the wrong gauge (labrets are suppossed to be 14 gauge right?) So here I am without my piercings and still with a slightly swollen lip.

There is a bright side though. I found clear studs online that are safe for new and healing piercings - something called bioflex. So once the come in (already ordered) I'll be able to get repierced and my job will be cool with it.......I'll just have to put up with wearing clear studs all the time while they are healing.

And to top it off, work sucked. Is there nobody in Cambridge that wants to drink on a Wednesday night? Ugh, bartending.
