em, ToWalktheNight's plasticman story reminded me of this dude in my neighborhood....
So there's this guy in my neighborhood whose like really tall and robust, and he wears this little beret, knee length black spandex and (here's the kicker) black ballet slippers and walks around the sidewalk like this.
His massive calves look rather funny in those dainty slippers, and the way he walks so purposefully and forcefully, well...it is a pretty damned amusing site.
i haven't seen him lately though. i hope it's because it's winter and not because he moved
