one family xmas down, three to go.

so because NO ONE wants to coordinate schedules today we had the (evil) side of the family, my mom's brother his wife their kids & their kids AND my brother & his wife and kid (cause they say they're not visiting anyone on christmas)...

so my living hell today: 5 kids, 3 18-20 yr olds, 6 adults, poorly-thought out gifts... religious/bush-loving relatives i'm not supposed to talk back to (cause that would cause fights) and brats from age 1 to age 12 crawling, screaming, toys strewn everywhere... kill me. please. i'm in hell. kill me now. i'll even write you into my will if you would be so kind as to put me out of my misery...

3 more to go:
1 - xmas eve with me & the parents... that'll be nice
2 - xmas day with my mom's sister & her family (unfortunately 3 kids... *sigh*)
3 - day after xmas, my dad's brother & sister & their families... more people i have nothing in common with

i'd better get lots of books for xmas (or at least gift certs to Barnes & Noble) to counter balance xmas & day after...

and, while we're wishing, ipod nano for xmas... that'd be cool
