Well Hello!
So SG homework this week share a favorite recipe, which a bunch of them come to mine because I absolutely LOVE cooking!! Meals such as dinner are always a great way to spend time with the family and un-wide for the night, bond and just get to sit down together and see how each other days went and if anyone needs to vent they have the chance to do so in what they know as a safe environment.
I remember when I was younger growing up in a single parent home my mom always did her best to provide us with a well cooked meal for dinner, she would always have us sit down and talk about are days and how school went, unfortunately the older we got the more it seemed my mom had to work and home cooked meals slowly came to a stop. BUT I am trying to revive the tradition with my family today!

mmmmmm Yumm chicken tacos are one of my favorite classics! There simple quick and come on who just doesn't like Mexican tacos??
What you need: 3 tablespoons ovoo (olive oil), 2 or 3 chicken breast (depending on how much you want to make) and chopped romaine lettuce, flour tortillas, 1 or 2 avocados (optional) and some aluminum foil
For Pico De Gallo: 2 cups of tomatoes (3 or 4 ripe tomatoes), 1/3 cup cilantro (coriander), 1/3 cups spring onion, 2 cut green jalapenos (remove seeds), 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, 1 lime (for lime juice)
Alright Lets Cook!!
Go ahead and set your oven to 150. So what I like to do is take two of the flour tortillas and wrap them in aluminum foil and place them in the oven so as your cooking your tortillas are warming up. I normally do a set of 8 because my family will chow down!
As my pan and Ovoo are heating up on the stove I cut my chicken into thin strips. Once your pan is nice and hot thrown in your chicken and cook until it is a nice golden brown. I'll add just a pinch of salt and pepper to add taste to the chicken.
As your waiting for your chicken to cook go ahead and start chopping up lettuce for your tacos and lets get started on are Pico. In a bowl, throw all ingredients together and toss until they are well combined.
Once your chicken is cooked nice and brown go ahead and place it on a plate. So what I like doing is making a taco bar for my family, laying out everything on the table so they are able to make there tacos how ever they want, I love avocados so i'm normally the only one eating them in my house, hence why they would be optional!
