I just finished the last assignment for my summer course in "my program". I have not had a summer off for nearly three years. Let me give you some back story, I moved here (southern California) in late June of 12 and have been doing to school full time since that fall (August 12) and have been taking classes to finish my general education and entrance into my current AS (associate of science) program. I have been doing the fall-spring-summer for basically the last three years and I won't be done with my program until May of 2017. (So that means two more years of fall-spring-summer of 12-15 units). BUT when I finish that means I will have spent five years attempting to get a two year degree! HAHAHA BUT WAIT! Thankfully I have smart counselors who pushed me in the right direction and I'll end up leaving my campus with two degrees. I must say, I have never been more excited to know for the next six weeks I don't have to do jack shit! Which isn't really true, I got picked up as a tutor for fall, and will be using the next six weeks to prep for that in addition to my full fall class load but as far as a "vacation" this is the closest I'm getting until summer 2017.
BUT MY BIGGEST GOAL FOR THE NEXT SIX WEEKS:
Fuck yes people.
