This weeks @bloghomework assignment @MISSY @RAMBO and@LYXZEN suggested to write about our use of Emoji! To be frank, my blog isn't going to really be much of a guide, more like how to be a slacker and still have cute emotes.
In addition to that disclaimer, this blog is going to tell you exactly how uncreative I am! LOL
I want to start with, my phone has the smallest capacity ever, and here's the apps I am able to install and use without being told I have insufficient space. Pact, MyFitnessPal, Runkeeper, Instagram, Photo Repost, and Pandora, so I don't have the Emoji app! I know that Emoji is supported on all major platforms including iOS, OS X, Android and Windows. So, really I just need a better phone... which eventually one day I will get to. I like livin' in the past and such... LOL What keeps me from getting a newer phone, is I can pretty much drop this phone at ten feet from the ground and it STILL works.
But lets be real we want our instagram feed, and our text messages to be all friggin' cute so I work around this slight inconvenience of my phone. Both of my parents have the Emoji app, and my MOM loves it to death. I mean to death, something about the app changing her text option to pink just makes her world a better place.
So both my parents send me ridiculous messages with mainly just emotes. My dad just gets carried away in a line of them, but my mom on the other hand, makes me little designed messages.
Here is an example of a message from my mom:
I tend to delete messages from my dad more often then my mom, so I don't have any from him to share at the moment.
SO whenever they send me a message that has an emote in it that is super cute, I save the message so when I want to use it I can just COPY AND PASTE. Really to me this function is the best thing ever. (No having insufficient space problems) I love to copy and paste and use these cute little bows and pins on my instagram, because when it comes to tagging I hate when there's like FIFTY million tags all in one line, (because I like fifty million tags) I like to space them out and put them into there own little compartment. So to speak. (Probably because I'm OCD).
Here is an example of how I like my instagram posts to look like:
I'm not exactly sure why, but I am just crazy about that little camera icon! I just think it is the neatest thing ever. I try to use it at every chance I get!
Anyways, I am really excited to see other people's blogs regarding this topic!
xoxo
