This weekend I was spoiled by having my extremely gorgeous friend @Empress_ visit me! She came from Vegas via the bus, and I was supposed to pick her up at the Amtrak at Angeles stadium, but when you don't double check things like that, you end up making mistakes! So the bus ends up taking her to this small grey hound station and I ended up driving around in circles because my GPS couldn't pull its head out of its ass.
I snapped a few selfies while I was waiting for her bus to arrive.
Friday we spent the evening pretty much relaxing. We checked into a motel near our house and got settled in. We spent the evening enjoying good food at a local Mexican restaurant that my fiance and I really enjoy! Sadly, I didn't think enough that she gets enough of that at home, but she chowed down on a tamale, and I had the tortilla soup that is to die for at El Campos here in Whittier. Empress_ and I split some fried ice cream for dessert! Can you say mmm mmm mmm! The three of us headed over to the budget theater for nachos, popcorn, and some comedy and watched Ride Along. We dropped my man off at home, and we spent the evening listening to over dramatic boys, me stressing over poly sci homework, and me taking some naughty instax of @Empress_ so if you're interested in purchasing some hawt photos of her, head over to her page and hit her up.
Saturday morning, I made her breakfast, I made double chocolate, chocolate chip chunk pancakes with coca swirl cookie butter. She's not much of an eater and only got down one. Or I'm just a shitty cook, and no one is letting me in on that info lol! I would share a photo of how awesome they looked but my computer is being a hooker and not letting me upload the things I want in this blog! BUT ANYWHO! I shot my first set ever of some one! I'm not a visual person, so hopefully there's enough salvageable photos. I do not have untapped potential in the artistic realm, that I can say for sure!!!
After sexy photo time, we hooked up with my fiance and headed down to Hollywood BLVD to eat at the Rusty Mullet. Empress got the lemon pepper wings, and I got for my main course dessert! When I go out to restaurants I have a hard time seeing wasting the calorie intake on things other than processed sweets. Is anyone else this way? The three of us split nachos, and they had the most awesome sour cream. I'm a sour cream fan. If you have a chance to get out to this bar you really should check it out. We walked the BLVD and I was dying to get a sundae at the El Captain but that was not in the cards for me. We hit up Ameoba records and Empress got a cd and we got some awesome laser discs (Disney movies too) We debated getting our nipples pierced in celebration of our girls weekend but that didn't end up happening . Maybe another time. We took her over to Syren our favourite BDSM store here in Los Angeles. I got a new collar, and a new gag. Looking forward to trying that gag out, hopefully tonight, but I digress to the store at hand. Later that evening we kicked ass at mini golf. Surprisingly I beat @Empress by two or three strokes. I think I had a 74 and she had a 77. I had had had to take her to the best Korean BBQ place here in Whittier, it's called Woori Gumi. My man tried to shoot a multi together, but the lightening was not helping the situation, so that's going to have to wait until the next time she's in town. She's going to be visiting San Diego, so we'll be taking time to visit her when she's back in California. We were going to get some retail therapy in, but the mall ended up closing before it said on the internet. We were going to get in some decadent sugar high goodness by stopping at Krispy Creme which apparently is the place to be on Saturday nights because not only was it back, but people were nearly running one another to donuts. SOOOO instead we were going to get this special pie from Marie Callender's that's supposedly the special of the month, but of course every friggin' Marie Callender's in the area didn't carry it. We decided we would stop and see non-stop but that wasn't playing anywhere in our time frame, so we ended up at my other favourite place! YOGURTLAND! God I could eat frozen yogurt for every single meal. Than we headed over and watched American Hustle at the budget, which is an awesome flick! I just love Christian Bale! I know everyone says he's an uber douche, but I just love his acting. Jennifer Lawerance was also spectacular.
Sunday morning I woke up Empress, and she shot a set of me. We finally get in our retail therapy, and hit up Le Puente Mall, and shopped around at H&M, Hot Topic, and Zumiez. We got in some "girlie" action by getting pedicures. Ended up picking probably the worst salon ever though, not only did it not say they didn't accept Discover card, but the people wouldn't stop trying to up sell us on every little thing. Having our feet scrubbed with a pumious stone should not cost extra, let alone $5 Sadly, time came and it was time for Empress to head back to Nevada. I'm so blessed to have such an awesome friend have come visit me, and spend time with!
Thankfully, I have the walking dead to finish the night off with!
