Woah, today has been a long day!!! Started out with my classes as per usual, and had to run a few errands. I needed to pick up my birth control to find out the pharmacy I had it filled at doesn't accept my insurance. I don't have time to go to the doctor to get a new prescription to take to a pharmacy that is going to take my insurance, at least not right now so I had to pay an ridiculous price, but having a child would definitely run me into the red pretty fast. The pharmacist asks me, "Do you still want them?" Referring to the birth control when she informs me my insurance isn't any good to Walgreens, and I look at her, and I ask her, "Well, I don't need to be knocked up now do I?" I mean common sense tells you when something is a necessity you get it. You make due regardless of the price. Maybe because I was grumpy, I figured she was daft. I think it was her tone that irked me most.
I got home to find my mother in law putzing in the kitchen that she knew I would be cooking in as soon as I got home from class. It was one of those moments, where I just had to ask myself, why did she bother asking me if I was going to cook a day before Thanksgiving again just to be in the way. Everything I make every year is pretty much made from scratch other than the ham. I don't go out and butcher the piggy myself. I made a carrot cake, with homemade cream cheese frosting, a green bean casserole, and cajun bacon mashed potatoes.
I really should do an extreme work out tonight after sampling all my dishes to make sure they tasted properly. Lemme tell you, every thing tastes divine, may not look pretty, but tickles the taste buds.
Enough complaining for tonight!
