We had our cake already picked out went we visited Wisconsin this past June. Our cake is coming from Eat Cake
My fiance really likes what he's dubbed the "Mad Hatter" style cake, so we'll be having a five tier cake similar to this shape! The cake's tiers are mainly going to be coconut cake with chocolate ganache and one of the larger tiers will be yellow cake with lavender with raspberry puree and chocolate ganache. I thought it would be fun to have one flavour for the men and one flavour for the women.
A really close friend of mine, who happened to be the photographer of my first set here on Suicide Girls helped push me in the right direction for our wedding photographer. He introduce me to this guy Simon, who runs Valo Photography! Check out more of Valo Photography Here!! I'm pretty thrilled about this guy, I think it's hard to come off well over the phone sometimes and this guy nailed it! He's super sweet and funny and even though I haven't met him I feel totally comfortable with him! We booked him before I even looked up reviews for his business and those are stunning! Not a single bad word out there!

I had told him that we had a terrible time finding venue's that would accommodate my dog as well as be willing to host our early afternoon wedding ceremony and reception! BAM! He emails me this location and I look up the reviews, there are a few negative feedback regarding weddings at this location but the rest were all very favorable! I made the call and the woman who serves as Villa Filomena's coordinator Tina said I would be more than welcome to have an early ceremony and reception on Sunday and that I could have me dog accompany me for the entire time we are at the Villa Filomena! Totally psyched about that! Tina was super friendly and didn't pressure me at all to put money down right away unlike all the other venue people I spoke to! The other nice thing about this location is their are no menu restrictions or entertainment restrictions to that's making planning even easier!
I than contacted my first representative that we met with for catering in Wisconsin to tell them we have narrow down our selection of venue's and see if we would still be eligible for the discount we were offered. The original venue for the wedding turned out to be under construction so they offered to bump up our catering menu to the next high package for free! The Zill Hospitality representative said she saw no problem with the potential discount even though we would be going with a different venue that wasn't one of her locations. (Zilli's has a different representative for each location).
Pretty psyched about that! I'm making all our decorations by hand so now that I have our venue I can finally start on centerpieces and the like. Our colour scheme is white, silver, and blue ice.
I think I'm done gushing for now!

Hehe well thankfully the cider mill where I had to pick up the after hours donuts and cider (symbolizing our second date) was near where my oldest niece and her bf were staying. And since she agreed to say something in the ceremony it was all good. And no I didn't have to drive them home after the reception lol.

Yeah we did. After coming home we had some awesome newlywed sex, went through our new gained spoils and then her dad took us to the airport and off to Disney World we went. 
We got a nice deal and stayed at one of the resort hotels which also included the hopper deal where you could go from park to park as many time as you wanted.
