Yesterday I started the training at my new job. It won't be too difficult a job, but I just have to learn the new little tricks of the trade. The computer system seems pretty simple and easy to navigate. The job is at a successful medical staffing company. That is to say, if a medical care provider needs say, an RN, or a CNA, or what have you, they will call me up, and I will try to find someone to fill the position. I am looking forward to this job as it's going to be a bit less stressful than the hotel, less drama (I hope), and way better pay. $11 and hour, 2% weekly commission, and if I fill 4 shifts per shift I work, I make an extra $25. At the hotel, we were going to be lucky to get a raise after a year. The owners of the hotel are not the best people. But hey, they have the money, and as is typical with most owners of business, there is less care for their employees.
