something atrocious happened at last nights battle of the bands at the tla.
my friend alex's band did not win. his band behind the sun was the absolute best band there. the rest of the bands were horrible, so bad that i can't remember any of their names. i'd rather have my wisdom teeth taken out again than have to listen to some of those bands. i'm just happy i got to see behind the sun play. they represented for true metal, not that trendy horseshit that was in abundance at the show

if alex's band had won they would have had a chance to play at ozzfest, but all the bands that participated get tickets. the winner of the entire contest plays one ozzfest show this year, and tours on the second stage next year. all that could have been. i really thought they should have won, but i know their gonna get a break, because that band is too good not to. i had fun being with friends, and seeing behind the sun rip shit up.
