Winding down after another long day in the universe...Dingo's in his cage, Bull's on his bed in the corner, and friendgirl's already in bed, which is abnormal because usually I'm the first one to tap out. She had a long day, too.
At one today, along with 2 servers and a bartender, I opened the Underwhere Bar and all the tables down there. Such shifts usually start slow, get briefly totally insane, and then you're clocking out while the upstairs servers are just getting going with their sidework. The only thing that sucks about it is that as a coordinator I'm responsible for making sure we open and close properly. I'm the one who cuts everone loose and goes back over everything and waits for the manager to say it was all done right. Hooray for being lower management. It was a good shift, though, and everyone worked hard and we goofed off, and now I'm sitting on the couch with my feet propped up, my laptop on my lap, Slightly Stooped kickin' quietly, the TV muted and tuned to Sportscenter...
Life is good. I'm whooped.
I believe I'll be hittin' the beach tomorrow in the late AM, early afternoon area. Then it'll be dinner at fg's mom's house.

I actually might be out at the beach tomorrow with some co-workers. Not sure yet, but I know if I do go it would be a good time and lord knows I need some sun on my great white legs! It was so awesome to get to meet you in person! I totally understand that you were busy and not able to stop back by. Like I said, you blew me away just in recognizing me and coming up to me remembering my name! It would definitely be cool to chat more next time! Enjoy dinner!
