Last night I decided to grace the heart of Navarre Beach with my presence by making an appearance at Juana's. The place was packed to the rafters with vacationers and locals. Apparently there was some sort of underwear contest on the stage but I didn't pay any attention to it. I was just trying to chillax and talk to my peeps. Most of the time I was stationed right outside the bar so I could actually hear what my friends were saying. I was surprised at the amount of ink I saw all around. I didn't realize so many Navarre people were tattooed. I have to say that it kicks ass walking into a bar and getting hugs from lots of lovely young ladies. It does a man good. It's one of the reasons I enjoy working in restaurants: immediate plentiful connections.

But I also have to say that my enjoyment of the evening was hampered by all the drunkeness and idiocy. I'm known for getting retarded myself, but it's actually been a while and it's hard to have a good time when girls are running around left and right with all sorts of weirdo drama and there's so-and-so crying over there and there's so-and-so who's pissed because she didn't make top 5 in the T & A contest and holy crap here comes so-and-so and she's jumping on me and grinding her crotch against me and boy isn't it a beautiful out here on the Sound? Geez. It's almost too much madness.

I was happy when I blew out of there with LilP and we went and hung out on the beach.
