Maybe I was sent to this part of the world to inform the inhabitants on the subject of cultural sensitivity.

I just went off on a rant in my MySpace blog regarding racist humor. I wrote in one little flurry and stepped back. Total spontaneity. And the reason the subject came to me is that I've never lived in such a racist climate, and that's saying a lot considering the pit of ignorance my hometown is.

A friend has been telling me I should volunteer. She says it'll make me happier. Maybe she's right. I'd been thinking of leaving this area because of how stupid most everyone is, but I don't think that's the right course. I think I need to help educate people...somehow...

I need to figure out how.
