What's it like here in Santa Fe? The weather is variable and that makes for an interesting day. The high today was about 53 and the low will be around 33 degrees F. The elevation here is 7000 feet which makes for a clear night void of pollutants that besets bigger cities. There are miles upon miles of hiking trails and ski trails. The shops downtown are flooded with anxious tourists from around the US and globe. But there still is that local element that makes Santa Fe so attractive. People I meet often ask the question "Are you from here?" I take some offense to this but understand for some this is the only place they know and they are certainly proud of their heritage. I just want them to know, since I moved here, it is now part of my heritage, henceforth and I proudly Santa Fe home.
