dearheart, I _was_ eaten alive...more than once. sometimes it was, of course, all my fault. I got in a relationship and things started going good and I would just pour on the steam...warp 9, Mr. Sulu!! Too far, too fast, too passionate, and too "into" the whole situation. I scared them off; frightened them with my intensity.

I've had the opposite experience, too. It was a total eye-opener. I had a complete nut-case that would not leave me alone. What a frightening experience. After that particular relationship, I really tried to learn the lesson of letting go. And, for the most part, I've learned my lesson well.

That doesn't mean, however, that I'm any less prone to being passionate about the women I love. In fact, I am very fond of you, Ms. Myrtle...don't that the wrong way, though. I'm not going to stalk you or anything. I just find you interesting and fun and engaging...plus you post in my journal without any prompting from me. A gold star for YOU!!
