Dear darlings,
I know I've been absent for a little bit, but it's for very good reason.
I have some very lovely friends visiting right now, and they're brightening my life up before they leave tomorrow, so I haven't been able to mail back or tell you about my life for a couple of days now, but that doesn't mean I feel any less love, in fact, I may feel more!
I thought I would tell you a fast story that made me feel happy today.
One of my dear friends suffered through a very big trauma last year that changed her life completely, I would tell the story but I think posting it on the internet would probably be a bit offensive, but she's made it through. Last night while we were sitting around we got on the topic of dreadlocks and she mentioned how she had been thinking of getting them, and then told me how that she had heard that dreadlocks work as a kind of dream catcher, and after all that she had went through last year she was sure that her hair had absorbed a lot of dreams and thoughts of hers and how she never wanted to lose that hair. She really wanted to dread it all up and then when she eventually cut it off she could keep it forever, and even tie a piece to a special tree of hers. This may all sound really silly, but it was so beautiful the way she described it. So we all worked together and got her hair dreaded up, and she left tonight looking beautiful and spidery, thinking about it makes me smile.
Blah, that came out 100X less eloquent than I had hoped it would be, I guess you would just have to meet her, and I got 1 little dread myself to mark the occasion.
P.s.-I saw lady in the water today and it was beautiful

Yes people do in fact still date although as I understand it artificial insemination will soon replace sex and animatronics will in fact rule the world... yes the guy with the spark plugs... not sure where that was going...
