working on a paper that will attempt to explain that the reception of the great gatsby in 1925 reflects on the Jazz Age. so far i have only talked about f scott's boyhood and his wanting to be a football star. i am two pages into a twelve to fifteen page paper. i have lost the motivation to do any work on it tonight.
my friend mike came over for a couple of hours which disrupted my work, but in a good way. he is going to start going for the miami vice look. i think he can pull it off if done well. we talk about his new saying, "suck it dolphin" and "...then i went home and jerked it big time." that silly kid sure makes me laugh.
i have to work until the simpsons come on. wish me luck. question of the day: should the miami vice, don johnson look come back?
