My mom use to keep a black widow as a pet- NO JOKE. She didn't have it in a cage or anything though- she just let it run around in her room. When my daugher stayed over there- I caught it and put it in the shed. My mom use to tell me it was a hella smart spider so when she asked what I did to it I said- Nothing I just asked it to leave and it did. *rolls around on floor laughing *
