Time to take down that nasty self-pity post. I know I'm better than that, but every so often you just need to let it all out.
Well one of the gallery locations on the island is closing. This will somewhat alter my plans for moving but not by much. I have already started looking for another job (one that could make way for a transfer east
) and our admin offices at the gallery are looking for me to possibly fill one of their open positions. better money, better benefits, and 8-4:30 M-F hours The extra money will be great, it will make it easier for me to save for the move. I don't intend on telling them about the move until everything is all set.
I have just enlisted my sister in helping me find a place out there. I can't believe how much she has grown up in the past year. She isn't the same person and that is definitely a good thing. I am so proud of her. She is starting to seem the same person I knew when we were younger. Used to be very much alike. I don't know when she started to go the wrong way (and I don't mean not my way) but she is kinda back to herself. Even her bf of god knows how many years has noticed it. He is so proud of her and happy that she is on track. I see only good things in teh future for the 2 of them.
The planning of things is what is kinda pushing my mood aside. That and I think one friend would sreiously consider flying out here just to kick my ass and go home if I didn't snap out of it. Such a good friend. Don't know what I would do without him.
Thanks for everyone who actually read that drivel in my last journal. And it erally means alot that sopme of you can't wait for me to get back.
And yes, Seantastic, the east coast IS mos definitely where all the cool people are
