Halloween was great!!! I spent the night on Front Street in Lahaina which I'm told is like Mardi Gras. TONS of fun. Every type of costume you can imagine. And more. A few friends and I spent a couple hours on the roof of the gallery watching the crowd, and having a few drinks. We were gonna try and get into one of the bars, but the lines were too long. Almost all the bars were playing music outside as well as in, so it wa still pretty good. The town was so busy it seemed like the whole island was there.

I went as a witch. A bad witch. If I can find a computer to upload the pics I will post the pic of my costume. I loved it, and I may even use it again next year. Many people asking to take my pic while whipping their husbands. And I got some pics of some really fun costumes.

I took my son to the kids parade there earlier in the day. On the way there when I stopped to get gas, and to put more coolant in my car. This little old lady needed help puting some coolant in her car cause it was starting to overheat. I decided that I would be a nice person and help out. I got the hood of her car open, and put in the little hook to hold it up. Well the hook didn't hold, and as I leaned in, the hood came down on my head. It didn't hurt that bad, but damn did it bleed. And bleed. And bleed. THEN the stupid women waiting for the bathroom still made me stand there in line instead of letting my find a way to stop the bleeding and get cleaned up. The girl at the counter brought me spray disinfectant, and a spray blood clotter (which didn't work too well cause my hair was in the way.) Finally I managed to stop the bleeding, and get cleaned up. The cut isn't even that big. Good thing my costume had a hat.
