We have the beginnings of a wedding website.

it isn't much yet. just the basics, but since family is spread all over the place this is probably the best ways to keep everyone on the same page.
The wedding party is now set. Two of our friends were "told" they were in the wedding. Only slightly kidding. Our friends Jess and Mike have been there through almost everything that the 2 of us have gone through separately and together and there was never any doubt that they would be in the wedding. Jess was excited and Mike was half expecting it. Poor Mike. He has 4 weddings to go to between the end of June and the end of October. One is even the day after mine! We'll see how well he holds up.
Work is both great and the suck. It is great in the fact that I just got a letter from the VP of sales for Arden congratulating me on the counters sales last year. This past month we blew the sales plan out of the water. Plus we are one of the few counters in the store to make our plan for all of first quarter. And yet I get almost no support on the store level from Macy's. Arden recognizes the job I'm doing. Macy's complains that I don't open enough charge cards. The one saving grace is that the coordinator position that I am hoping to get was just approved by Macy's. Now is the waiting game. s soon as the job is posted, I get to put my info in and start setting up interviews. I think I have to go through 5 different interviews, but the salary is pretty decent and there will be very few weekends... and no closing shifts. Keep your fingers crossed.
All else is going well. life right now is pretty much all work and wedding. and yet I can say I am happy.
