Had my first day of training for the gallery. and let me just say I have never seen as much artwork in one place as what they have in their warehouse. and hopefully tomorrow I will get a change to walk their newest gallery befor they even start hanging it. Some of the prices are still amazing me though. You could buy a house for less than some of these pieces.

As part of my training at the gallery, I had to go to their Wednesday evening show. I got to meet the owner of the galleries and lots of people that work there. There was this guy (yeah, cliche, I know) he was sent down to the gallery to show the owner some of his work. So while the owner was in the back looking at his portfolio, he came up and we started talking. He left for a little while, and when he came back, he came straigt over to me and we talked a little more. After he talked again to the owner he left (of course finding me to say goodbye), but I never got his name. As luck would have it, as I was leaving he was coming out of another store and we bumped into each other again (almost literally). We talked for a while and I got to check out his work (and finally got his name), and he had pics of some tatoos he had designed. He offered to design mine for me, and sometime this weekend we're gonna be getting together to see what he came up with. He even walked me to my car. too bad my damn phone rang
