My first non private journal in about a year. Why you may ask? I told my friend John from the gallery I used to work at to check out the site, and I have linked him my page. Now what fun would it be to get to my journal and not even be able to read it? None, that's right. So Everone comment below to say Hi John!!!
Now back to your regularly scheduled update:
A day off! The last for the few before the Holiday season in Retail Hell. So I warn you all in advance that I'll be around very infrequently after this week, but I'll see most of you in NY for New Years (hopefully).
I thought it was a lock for going, but a great thing happened at work... my manager got demoted. She's gonna be taking over another department ans Cosmetics is getting manager from another store
(can you tell I'm excited?) I get to meet new manager tomorrow, and we'll sit down with the holiday schedule (and my sales plans for 4th qtr.) I don't think it'll be an issue to get it off from work, but I make no promises.
Things on the homefront are going great. Kendrick has settled in at school and LOVES to go. Brianna just finished Harry Potter 6 and is writing her book report on it. All three of us will be going to see GoF when it hits theatres next week. I can't wait.
Pip is great. What else can I say. It's been just over a year, and things are as great as the day I moved back, if not better. I'm glad he came to his senses. (there. I fixed it
)
Well all, off to finish up a few e-mails then catch up on journals. I have been major slacking in that department.
