We are the animal's that build our own cages. I went 850 miles to walk willingly into mine.

Rob Wilson said in a neat series that each success we achieve is made on the back of the person we were born to be. He also touches on the fact that we only conciously absorb 8% of what we should take in, thus the higher level many people claim to attain during trauma, extreme drug use, awakenings and the sort. Alot of the other stuff if paranoia en masse and conspiracy theories so thick that not even I could consider it plausable.

We do make cages, form emotional bars and erect walls to keep out all that we do not want to accept or associate with, knowingly or not, it happens and that is all that matters. We make up our reasons, convince ourselves that this is the way, throw on the blinders and walk willingly into the trap. All the while we slowly kill what we once were or could have been and allow ourselves to be molded into something completely new.

I had a chance about eight hours ago to ressurect something that lived for several years and died in less than thirty seconds.

We seem to change as a person completely once every five years. We don't notice it happening, but it does. What we were fades away into what we are, and soon that will be gone, replaced by what we will be.

This was not the me of five years ago talking, this is whom I am now. I believe the answer they recieved was found lacking.

So, although I do see merit in his words, and agree with many of his other sayings, I think I have to disagree.

I succeed because I am better at being whom I truly am now, unlike then. I stood on the corpse of what I was, not what I should have been.

I am Swoo, and I need a beer.

Fo' sho.
