I am a porcelain jar filled with tears. Cracks form in the weak spots, and some of the sparkling salty liquid leaks out in tiny droplets. Sometimes I smash into the floor and an ocean escapes, warping the wood. Often, there are ghost swirls of blood mixed in, from bare black days and shimmering soulful blades.

I used to attempt violin and piano as a child. I want to play bass, but it's not feasible right now.
And god IS an asshat. I had to spend $1300 on my birthday this year to fix my car and was stuck inside all day.
Last year, I had one job stiff me 2 months' pay and the check bounced on my birthday. The other job told us we were being laid off on my birthday.
If he keeps this up, I'm not thanking him for anything come Turkey Day.
