I had a really good day.
Despite the crappiness of yesterday, and my whole 4 hours of sleep
I had a good day. It was beautiful out, a gorgeous blue sky day. We drove nowhere, all day. I saw some gorgeous abandoned buildings, cows, crows in still-bare trees, brilliantly green grass, brand new flowers, and one-way streets that got us lost. More trees with white or pink or purple flowers, and giant trees toppled over in bare woods.
It was a camera day without a camera, but now I'll just have to go back.
Until we got home and the damn spiders ruined it all. Goddamn spiders! I HATE FUCKING SPIDERS! Wait, I said that wrong. I FUCKING HATE GODDAMN SPIDERS!!!!
Question: How do you break an obsession with something without completely disassociating yourself with it? Is it possible? Apparently, I have an odd sense of self-discipline. I can handle moderation with some things (cigarettes, booze...), but not others (sugar, smilies...) WTF? Why can't I apply the priciple of moderation with everything?

Similarly so. I can stop drinking easily when I;ve had enough yet my moderation with biscuits does not work at all.
