I took my first set from which I will choose my application pics! I'm very excited and all proud of myself.
This is really a big step for me to take, and I'm going to be up front about it. I know there *may* be people who say "SG isn't for personal development" and I'm not "SG material" because of this, but they can fuck off because I'm really proud, and I deserve it dammit.
The thing is, just applying means I've overcome my extreme upbringing (I was raised a Jehovah's Witness
), my irrational body issues(picture me whining about how fat I am and how bad my skin is), and a medical disorder (social anxiety). So, really, this is a proud moment for me. And I'm taking it easy. I know that if I'm not accepted, no biggie. I'll try again later. Or not. But I'm having loads of fun, and I'm feeling good, so there! 
So I'll send in my app tomorrow probably, and I'll put my pics up for all to see.
