Finally have internet access. Jesus Christ.
Between school and work I never have free time.

No, I don't think you are losing your mind, its just sometimes hard to see in the dark and feeling ones way doesn't always cut it. Sometimes the things you touch just seem wickedly fucking unfamiliar unlike the clarity one can recieve when things are exposed to the light.
