That person IS a shithead, big time. I will say though that there are quite a few young people who have embraced me for the person I am and couldn't care less about my age. Those are the people that matter to me, not those who judge fror no legitimate reason.

If the person I wrote about had said the same thing today, I wouldn't have let it get to me nearly as much. As I said, I was still shaky about whether I fit in here or not.

I should mention that you and khoos were also people that helped make me feel at home here. It feels good to know that the two of you and the three people I mentioned in my blog are still a part of my life here, although Brigette isn't all that active nowadays.
