Time for an update.

Room has fallen behind schedule. Most of the sheetrock is up, and I started to spackle the joints and screw holes on the stuff that was up. Stuff left to do:

I hear you. it's understandable that you'd put that stuff on the back burner, what with everything that's happening in your lives. I'm sure you'll be getting back into it too. When it's in the blood, it's in the blood.

I'm obviously more into it than you are as a lifestyle. My time so far with Kathy has had some adjustment issues in various areas. As I said earlier, we seem to be a perfect fit when it comes to the lifestyle. I have to say that, as much fun as I had with Lyrical, that was just play, while this is the real deal. Kathy is a lifestyle Domme. This is someone I need in my life right now to cultivate and nurture the real me.

That doesn't necessarily mean that we'll continue the relationship after my stay here is over. After all, there's a lot more to a relationship than complementing each other in a kinky lifestyle. I'm not going to dwell on what might be in the future. I'm going to live in the moment.

Construction update:

The electricity is all roughed in. There were at least two circuits feeding the room, including a live wire just dangling in the wall. A combination of newer Romex and old cloth insulated wire. The ceiling light didn't even have an electrical box, just a hole poked through the drywall and the wire fed through. Now, all new wire from the circuit breaker...

Electrical wiring freaks me out! One of the places I lived in college had a light fixture dangling from the ceiling and one day when we got a big rain there was water welling up in it, presumably coming from somewhere above it... I am surprised I am still alive!
