Hospital watch day 2:
khoos had an endoscopy and an ultrasound this morning. As of a little while ago, she hadn't spoke to the GI doctor. One of the doctors from our regular practice stopped in and said "we'll see you over the weekend", so I expect this is going to be a long weekend

You don't have to tell me how hard it is running after two small children. It's even tougher for you, since the're so close in age. In my case, there was a 4 year gap, so my older one was actually a help to me in trying to take care of my younger one.

I wish khoos a speedy recovery and I wish you one as well.

I lost about 70 lbs doing WW. My friend is doing it now and down about 15 lbs. We go for bike rides together about once a week, when we started he couldn't go far but last time we went 30km together at a slow pace.

And yeah my Podiatrist is kind of an idiot and is pretty much ready to release me to skate now, which I know I'm not ready for yet (as does my physical therapist), but I can start conditioning myself by joining a gym, building up cardio and strength and then I imagine by August or September I may be able to skate again, but yeah no pushing it....
