Day 9,042,856 of being sick:
The long version -

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

The plague has spread through the house. All humanoid creatures occupying the dwelling are all coughing violently, and oozing snot like it was our jobs.

Yesterday I went to work for an hour before having to come back home. The first sign that was a bad idea was me spacing out behind the wheel, drifting into the next lane and almost crashing into a BMW 7 series. The second, and final clue, was when I realized the toilet and sink were too far apart to meet my needs. puke Managed to conserve enough energy over the day to make a quick run to the food store, only to be dizzy and gasping for air by the time I got home. I barely slept all night because poor T was coughing all night. Even NyQuil couldn't make me sleep. Thankfully D slept like a rock, and khoos spent significant amounts of time snoring. She totally has one of those little girly snores. I snore like a bear getting raped by a chainsaw.

This morning was the day I wished we had a nanny. khoos is where I was on Monday. I woke up and got dizzy just walking to take a piss. T is being a whiny jerk. D had to be sent to her room after throwing a fit. khoos is currently napping. I have a feeling we're going to be trading naps all day.

The short version:

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

Everyone is sick as fuck. It sucks.

We watched the first two episodes of Awake last night. The main character is stuck between two "realities" after being in a horrendous car crash with his wife and son. In one reality, the wife died in the crash. In the other, the son died. For the most part, it is easy to figure out which one he's in - the wife one has a warm, yellowish tone to the scenes; the son one has a very dark, grey feel. Both have their own versions of the same characters. It's very cool. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
