Interesting weekend.
Saturday was spent doing some running around. Farmer's market, junk shop, doctor's office for blood work, park with the kids, and then I got ditched.
I'd set it up so Infinity would give khoos some time away from the house, for conversation with someone capable of conversation above "Mommy, I poo'd". While she was getting ready to go out, Suri called to say she was in labor. So after hanging out with Infinity, khoos took off for Philly. I was left with the girls. I was terrified. khoos made sure to arrange for Sharona1881 to come out and babysit me, and help with the girls.
Sunday was shaky at first. Girls woke up all wound up. Before I drove myself insane, I took them to this awesome play place. I thought they were exhausting at the house. Playing with them at the play place is FAR more exhausting. Listening to Laurie Berkner and Yo Gabba Gabba for two hours probably didn't help. Then off to pick up Sharona1881 so she could help wrangle toddlers. Followed that with a belated birthday dinner with my family. I was borderline getting meat sweats from the giant plate of various BBQ'd meat. The day ended on a high note, which I'm happy about.
As of lunch time today, Suri was still in labor.
I also need to mention that Deceptiviewfilm is a great friend. We suck at getting to spend time with him, but he's still great guy. Don't let the bitter front he puts on fool you. Man has a heart of gold.
