Saturday night we had an epic breakthrough for khoos' etsy shop: Chocolate - Creme de Menthe Marshmallows
Just the beginning of our new Chocolate Lover's line of marshmallows.
I've become more and more an active part of the shop. I do most of the marshmallow cooking, while khoos does the bath and body stuff, and does all the online business stuff. As such, I've gone all mad scientist in the kitchen. When khoos suggested this particular idea, the incredibly successful execution of it has gotten me out of the funk with the recipe that is driving me mad: vegan marshmallows. I love being in the kitchen. I considered culinary school, until I worked in a kitchen doing prep work and dishes - it's hot as hell and you smell like a combination of foods that are delicious on their own, but combined is just gross. So, I'll stick to creating in my own space.
We actually came up with an idea for my own shop. It will be a geared towards manly men, but in a totally kitsch way. I don't expect it to do well, but I'm looking forward to the sheer hilarity of some of my product designs.
