Wow... three days in a row. I guess I got shit to say.
Not sure what the hell is going on with D. She's gone parasitic. She needs to be attached to khoos. She's constantly wanting to be attached to the tit, but won't nurse for more than a minute or two unless she's starving. She wakes up every hour and a half at night. This morning she spent 45 minutes screaming at me, T and the kitchen, looking for khoos - I gave her food, changed her, picked her up, put her down and eventually just let her stand at the baby gate and scream at the kitchen. Eventually she grasped that mommy wasn't coming (she was actually in the bedroom trying to sleep), grabbed a few handfuls of puffs off the tray on her walker and played for a bit. This behavior kind of started when they were all up in Canada for a week, started to taper off once we got home and back into our usual schedule, but she's gone completely nutters. I feel bad for her because she is clearly having trouble with something, but at the same time my patience ran out days ago. She's going back to the pediatrician soon, but I'm considering calling an exorcist.
T is clearly effected by it. She's getting more and more clingy. Clearly because D is constantly on mommy's lap/hip/tit/etc. The really adorable thing she's started doing is sleeping on the floor. We'll make her bed, put her in it at bedtime, and come in to find she's dragged all the blankets and pillows off them bed and made herself a nest. Whatever. She's happy, sleeps fairly soundly, and no one is getting hurt.
Well, the good news is I get paid on Friday. Hopefully the tequila, vodka and Jack Daniels will hold me until then.
