In further stupidity in mdf's life, I put my foot through the ceiling in our bedroom closet this morning. 
We have basically decorative dormers in the roof. One of the windows popped open a while back and I've been too lazy to climb up into the crawl space of an attic we have and fix it. Today, the structural contractors, coming to stop my rafter spread, came to measure for the brackets and cables they need. Since we already were in the atttic, I figured I'd go close the window. The previous owners had put down plywood to make a floor, and at some point had cellulose insulation blown in over top of it. Well, I found where they stopped laying the plywood...
The good news is that they will try and have everything fabricated and installed by the end of the month. The bad news is I now have a 2'x2' hole in the ceiling of our closet.
