Friday night was fun. Twenty years without seeing these guys and we fell right back into step. Lots of catching up on things, spending time showing pictures of each other's kids, and most important, making fun of stupid shit we used to do. A huge chunk of the conversation centered around a friend of ours who had a psychotic break right around the time I stopped hanging around with them. Looking back, we all realized that the signs were there, but all got a good laugh at some of the things he did before hand. In some ways, he was the comedic genius of the group - I commented that every great group needed their Syd Barrett. Last anyone heard, he was in Attica for multiple counts of assault on his parents.
