The Republicans are lying assholes who can't deal with the fact that they fucked up the country and lost power, so they'll spread lies and try to scare the retards that are too stupid to read the truth posted publicly for them to read. "Socialized medicine", "Death Panels", etc. Seriously? What the fuck is wrong with you? They are proposing insurance for the people who fall in between those of us who get health insurance from our employers, and those already on government insurance - a.k.a. Medicare/Medicaid. I find it infinitely amusing that a huge chunk of of people crying that they don't want "government" health care are assholes already using it.
Thanks to G.W. Bush, and even going back to Ronald Reagan - the Republican's exalted leader and savior, financial deregulation continues to fuck the average joe like me. For the fourth time, today I got mail from one of my credit card companies whining about how hard the credit market is for them, so they're raising my interest rate to 30%. Awesome. People like me, who pay their bills every month, get fucked because the banks need to pay their asshole CEOs multi-million dollar bonuses, pay for corporate boon-doggles and then have the balls to cry poverty. Fuck you. I'm doing my best to keep my head above water, but thanks to these assholes, I'll probably be in bankruptcy within a year.
For the few of you on my friends list who have the balls to blame the Obama administration for our current situation - feel free to go fuck yourself. You're either too fucking stupid to see the reality of the last 8 years under Bush, where we went from a budget surplus, to a multi-trillion dollar deficit; or just as fucking greedy as the assholes who paid the politicians to pass this bullshit. Don't get me wrong, the Dems have just rolled over like a beaten dog, but you fucking assholes who want to blame Obama are just fucking stupid. Get your fucking heads out of your ass.
