Hello to you..
So today is "Me" Day. Woohoo! The day that everyone needs at least once a month, or even once a week for that matter. Actually, I think everyday should be everyone's "Me" Day. Then the world might be a better place... ha!
Anyways...I have taken the day off from work and I am now lounging around with my wild Nick Cave morning hair, with my fluffy blanket in my pajamas. Yesss! I love being worthless from time to time. Even though I can't believe that I am up at 9:00am. Maybe after this I'll go crawl back into my warm, soft, comfortable, fluffy bed. But most likely not.
So I was thinking. This year 2005 has totally sucked ass for me. I think it's a global thing too. Like this year has sucked for everybody. Don't let me speak for the few lucky ones that might have actually had the best year of their entire life, but for me and a lot of other people it has sucked.
There have been a lot of disasters and such. The tsunami, the hurricane, the earthquake, and now a threat of a pandemic avian flu. Is this the end of time? What next? NASA informs us that we have 24 hours until an asteroid the size of the moon will hit the earth. After such an insane year I wouldn't be surprised, I would almost expect it.
And not only has it been a year of global catastrophe, but if you look even further under the microscope into peoples personal lives. It has been nothing but bad luck for me and others. So I'm glad this year is almost over and I cross my fingers that next year will be a better year for everyone.
So anyway... as I have already mentioned previously I have been playing with my camera a lot and... blah blah blah... making some cool pictures. Maybe I should get paid to do this stuff so I can quit my day job. Heh, that would be nice
Well, here are some pictures I shot the other night as I took a stroll around Lake Ella. It should be called Drainage Pond Ella because sadly that is what it is, and they have built a park around it, in the middle of this shitty ass city. How sad. True nature is so much more beautiful and amazing. I often struggle with wanting to be out in the simplicity of nature and wanting to be involved in the busy hustle and bustle of city life. Perhaps there is a place that holds the magic of both worlds?
Saying of the day:
Rise and Shine.
I love you guys

Oh yeah... I put some more pictures in my photo album!
