I came home from class at about 4:30pm only to find that my tv, vcr, dvd player, cable box, and modem didn't work. It seemed to be a problem with the outlet cuz everything in the rest of the house worked. Luckily there was someone around who helped me fix it, so the little issue was resolved rather quickly. And then... I was FINALLY able to sleep! 
I slept until 11pm or so, with a couple of interruptions. And then I got up for about 2 hours and then went back to sleep for 1.5 more. I just want to sleep for like 12 hours right now... I'm so tired still. 
So now it's like 3am and I'm awake again... I have to finish this paper by 7:30am so I can give a presentation at 8:30am. Yesterday I gave a different presentation and I was so tired that I couldn't read my notes off the page and I kept stumbling over words... Luckily I had mentioned to people in the class that I had pulled an all-nighter so they just laughed along with me as I delieriously tried to speak.
It snowed more today and overnight... The roads are kind of blending in with the lawns now because there hasn't been any traffic. No one else is awake unless they're also typing papers like I am. I think it's pretty outside... I might type for a bit and then go to Dunkin Donuts for coffee and a donut just so I can drive in the dark, in the snow, with no other cars on the road. I know.... most people are nervous to drive when the roads are covered in ice and snow and the outside temp is like 19 degrees. Trust me, I

I'm applying to PhD programs right now and the process is making me more nervous than most previous things I've ever experienced. What's your field if I may ask?
