1. Good lord I haven't updated in forever. SORRY. Not many of you comment anyway. 
2. I went to the farmer's market on Saturday and got all kinds of awesome things: cucumbers, whoopie pies, blueberries, mixed potatoes (gold, red, and purple), mixed beans (green, yellow, and purple), yellow baby carrots, heirloom onions, lettuce greens, and red and yellow sunflowers. Good day at the market!
3. I am going through a poker tutorial with K. We're going to Maine in August and apparently their friends who are also going are big poker players. So she's trying to get me up to speed so I can at least play - even if I suck. I've been catching on though and winning some chips... we'll see how it goes. K lent me her GUERILLA GAMBLING book. hehe
4. I am so fucking tired of teaching class. UGH.
I have to write a new lecture every day. It's really fucking sucky. I can't wait until this is over and I can teach during the semester twice a week and have my 4-day weekends. Sheesh.
5. Today I think I am visiting a friend who just had a baby. I decided I'd be friends with the baby cuz he has a cool name: Avery.

7. I am having a small party on Thursday to watch all of the episodes of Transgeneration. I showed the first episode in class last week. hehe
If anyone has ideas for good vegetarian food to serve, let me know. I want small things that people can just kinda nibble on but that's cooler than like, cheese and crackers.
8. There is a heat advisory today. The record high here for today was 94 degrees in 1999. Today's projected high is 95-97. Thanks to global warming, we may set a new record today! And I can be miserable and want to die all day long.
