I don't blog much but this work week has been kind of out there so I'd thought I'd share.
I work for John Travis Painting or Travis Industries, whatever the hell he calls it now. We (the crew I work in) basically make a new building pretty for people to work, learn or live in. I'd post pics of some of the jobs we've done but I don't think that would be interesting to anyone.
We've kind of been behind schedule so we've gotten help sent our way. Monday, one of the new guys decides it would be a good idea and smoke weed on the jobsite. He gets busted, sent home, then fired. Tuesday, another new guy's papers were fake so he gets sent home. Why he didn't get them taken care of, I don't know. Wednesday, we get a call from one of my co-worker's wife saying he tried to rob a salon and he got busted. If you live in San Antonio you might have saw it on the news. Three guys with ski masks rob a nail salon, two got busted, one got away. Thursday, we get two more guys that were actually more work then help, so off they go too. Sounds like we hire a bunch of cons and good for nothin' but the owner feels anybody deserves a chance, which kind of hurts the company sometimes.
Well, that's been my weird week. Now I need to pack to go to Coushatta tomorrow and gamble.
