Saturday was amazing. Everyone I was with is great. Dani may infact be one of the coolest people invented, along Sara and Claire.
The show was awesome. I got my ass kicked, hardcore. I feel like I fell down a couple flights of stairs. I stayed with everyone in the seats for Shadows Fall then went down on the floor with Kevin and his friends for Lamb Of God. Of course, I lost them during the first song, but that's fine. I did a bit of crowd surfing in my short Dickies dress to get out of the front. I find being really close to the stage on the floor is usually annoying between the being squashed and the crowd surfers. The easiest way to get out is go up. My ass was flashed to everyone.
I went into the pit for the rest of Lamb Of God and kicked some ass. I ended up back in the seats for Slipknot, which I'm glad for. I nearly passed out halfway through the set because I was so warm and lacking water. I forgot the fact that extensions act like heaters. The pits were much worse for Lamb Of God than Slipknot. Mwahaaa. I thought I was bruised from wrestling Friday night, but that was nothing. Ha.

I'm spending the rest of tonight cleaning out my room. I'm getting rid of everything I don't need, use or wear. I'm sick of being in my house and want to get out at the first possible second.
I'm getting tattooed this Friday if everything goes as planned. Just waiting for Tim to draw it up for me. John's giving me a crazy deal. I'm quite excited.

How does one go about getting hauled up for crowd surfing? Do you ask the folk around you for a boost?
I have a theory running that were I to be asked, I would have more confidence in the intentions and goals of the person asking, and would be able to better be rid of my nagging fear that I am somehow imposing my will on others.
