my favorite part of my day today:
some typical country club mid 50s woman comes up to me ... 'Hi *strains to read name tag* Maggie. I'm looking for Laughing Cow cheese.'
so i say --> 'O, you'll find that in the deli.'
she gives me a blank stare.
so i inform her---> 'Laughing Cow cheese is a specialty cheese so instead of being in dairy with Kraft or Tilamook it can be found in the deli with Prima Dela.' by now she's staring at me so dumb founded that i wouldn't be surprised if she began drooling. 'uh, specialty cheese. i think it's French.'
she, honest to god, jumps te feet.
'French?! I can't buy that! We're mad at them!' then she gives off this nervous laugh that will haunt me in my sleep.
it took me a while to realize i was staring at her in contempt. so i gave it my best out-of-my-ass laugh.
i hate these people driving around in their SUVs with those 'boycot france' bumperstickers. JEZUS CHRIST! so they realized our president is a worthless hack before we have. GET OVER IT!!
and that was my pointless rant of the day...
